Christmas In Our Town
An entire day of fun for the entire family -
It’s Only a Mile Walk/Run - at 8:30 a.m.,registration from 7:30-8:15 a.m., on Liberty Square in Historic Downtown Sparta. All participants will be entered into a special drawing where the grand prize is a laptop computer from CompuGeeks.
Proceeds benefit CVEST.
Christmas in Our Town Participants can pick up entry forms beginning Nov. 30 at businesses. The drawing will be held at 4 p.m., Dec. 5, in
Downtown Sparta.
Christmas in Our Town Tour of Homes will begin at 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 each.
Sparta Rotary Christmas Parade
The Sparta Rotary Christmas Parade will begin at 4 p.m. Line up at 3 p.m., at the High School. To enter call the Chamber at 836-3552. Santa will be there. And following the Parade, the Sparta Community Christmas Tree will be lit on Liberty Square.
Doyle Christmas Parade
Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009. The Doyle Christmas Parade will begin at 10 a.m.
Sparta - White County Chamber of Commerce Open House
Held at the main branch of US Bank on Mose Drive at Hwy 111. in conjunction with the Gracemoor Trees of Christmas Auction at 6 p.m.
Gracemoor Trees of Christmas
The fourth annual event raises money for Gracemoor, women’s domestic abuse shelter. All proceeds benefit this worthy cause. Entry forms can be picked up at US Bank or at the Chamber of Commerce.

Trees may be entered for a fee if not auctioned off. If Tree is to be auctioned there is no entry fee.
